Discerning God’s future for St. Andrew’s

This past year has been one of sadness and upheaval within our congregation, but often out of crisis and brokenness, God’s people find fresh hope, encouragement and empowerment from the Holy Spirit. The leadership in St. Andrew’s rejoices in God’s faithfulness towards us, and we sense God is powerfully leading us into a season of renewal and freshness.

The Session gives thanks especially for the support and assistance provided to us by the Presbytery of Vancouver Island (the ruling body that has oversight of our congregation). Their counsel and help has been invaluable.

As we journey prayerfully and confidently into the new season God is providing, we are also thankful to the Rev. David Stewart who is serving as consultant to our pastor, Session and congregation. His knowledge of and love for St. Andrew’s, together with his practical wisdom and experience, have already proven to be of great encouragement and help.

Together with David, the Session will be regularly updating the congregation via print and this website page on the visioning and discerning process. Updates will also be noted within the church bulletin.
