This year’s theme is STAND and we hope to “Inspire, empower and challenge youth & young adults to make a STAND, step up, step out, make a difference and become HISTORYMAKERS!”
Here are some of the details for this year’s trip:
When: We will be leaving Duncan at 11 am on Friday, May 20 and returning around 10 pm on Sunday, May 22.
Where: Historymaker 2011 is based in Abbotsford this year. We will be teaming up with our brothers and sisters from the Duncan Christian Reformed Church, and will be sharing a school bus filled with rowdy teens who love Jesus to head to this event. We will also be sharing accommodations with them and staying at Gateway Church in Abbotsford.
Who: Anyone in grade 8-12 is welcomed to join us!
What to bring: Clean clothes, a sleeping bag and pillow, toiletries, sunscreen, and money for lunch and dinner each day (we will provide breakfast).
Cost: $175. If money is tight for you, we can arrange something as there are some bursaries available. Please don’t let money stop you from coming! :)
