Rev Daniel Martinez

Daniel and his wife Pamela arrived in Canada in 2008 after getting married and both graduating with a BA in Theology from Baptist Theological Seminary in Santiago, Chile. They lived in Montreal for three years, where Daniel worked with the Hispanic Church of God in Quebec as a teaching and youth Pastor. He served then in North Vancouver in SASS Presbyterian as an Associate Pastor (2014-2022), working with youth and college students. He initiated a youth worship team and led an adult Bible study. Daniel and Pam were also involved at Camp Douglas of the Presbytery of Westminster, where Daniel was director from 2018 to 2022. His camp name is “Chico,” a nickname he still loves!

Daniel studied Ancient Greek Language & Culture at the “Universidad de Chile,” which opened an opportunity to continue studies at Regent College, Vancouver. He received an MA from Regent in Theological Studies with a concentration in New Testament in 2014. Daniel pursued more studies at the Vancouver School of Theology & St Andrew’s Hall to be ordained in the PCC, receiving a Master of Divinity in 2022.

Daniel is passionate about Biblical teaching, New Testament Greek and history. He loves preaching and teaching Bible study. Daniel also loves Star Wars, Marvel movies, and the best sport ever, which according to “Chico,” is tennis. Daniel and Pamela have two wonderful children, Noelia and Felipe.
